Still have my old pair, too. The medium width of these shoes is just a slight bit wider than my other shoes of similar type (e.g. Sketchers), which I really appreciate.

Bought these shoes for my husband who is very tall and very large feet. He wears them all the time..I may have to buy a few more pairs very soon. No complaints with these shoes, they are comfortable, stylish and well made.

These are very comfortable walking shoes. I recently purchased a 2nd pair to replace my old ones. I put a lot of miles on the old pair; most recently on a 10-day walking tour of two countries. They are sturdy enough to function as hiking shoes.

THE BLACK SHOE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET.It says Metallic Silver/Mid Navy...and that is what I wanted and what I got.These are great all purpose running, walking training shoes. That is why they keep making this model shoe.Simple and durable. Mine last about 1 1/2 years each with HEAVY use.

I love this shoe and always reorder this model. Only drawback is the shoe does start squeaking after a while. I have gotten used to fixing the squeak by cutting the insole and dumping powder into it - which you may have to do more than once depending on how long you wear the shoes. It's a shame Nike can't fix this one flaw because this really is a great shoe.

In the past I've bought less expensive sneakers at Sam's Club or WalMart but they were not very comfortable nor did they last very long...This time I wanted something a lot better. I have two two bad knees that need replacing and wanted to ease the pain of walking.So although I've never had a pair of Nike Air Monarchs, I ordered them in hopes of getting a decent shoe that would make my walking easier.It was a good decision on my part. With basic standard shipping, the Nikes arrived quickly in just several days. The fit and comfort perfect. I gave these a five star rating for quality, looks, comfort. I'll do it again when I need them.

Usually Nike shoes are very narrow even when we get the wide width. However, they were exactly what we needed in the 4E. These are beautiful shoes. The subtle design under the mesh is not distracting yet gives the aesthetic a little something extra. My son loves them, and they are very comfortable on his feet. I don't know how long they will last for my pre-teen with the mesh on them, but the shoe itself has a sturdy construction. I would (and may have to) purchase these again... I might need a pair for myself :D
